I’m just a friend with a camera, really.

  1. Nikon, Canon, or iPhone? Currently Canon.

  2. Favourite Swedish treat? A semla, or potentially their Pick n Mix.

  3. What’s always in your camera bag besides your camera? A spare battery.

  4. Most magical place you've photographed? Places in nature always gets me.

  5. Rainy day in Scotland or snowy day in Sweden? Rainy day in Scotland.

  6. A song that always makes you feel something? Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. Cue the tears. Every time.

  7. What’s your go-to comfort meal? If my mum cooks: Swedish meatballs!

  8. Mountains, forest, or sea? I think it depends on how I feel on the day. But I’m lucky enough to live somewhere where I have access to all three.

  9. Black & white or full colour? Colour. Always.

  10. What’s your go-to order at a café? Oat flat white.

  11. What makes you belly laugh? Usually spending time with a really close friend. I laugh like that When I can be really silly and 100% be myself.

  12. Favourite way to spend a slow Sunday? I think slow Sundays are a thing of the past when you have a toddler. But I love spending my weekends with my family, having coffees and something to eat in cool places.

  13. What’s always playing in the background while you edit? Slow jazz! I’m particularly fond of Spotify’s Jazz Mix.

  14. Messy bun or full glam? MB.

  15. Film or digital — what’s your heart pick? Even though I mainly shoot digital, film photography will always hold the key to my heart.

  16. What’s something small that makes you really happy? Going for a fika with a friend or my wee family at a place that knows their coffee.

  17. If you could freeze one moment forever, what would it be? Probably all those fleeting, intimate moments I have with my son when it’s just us two.

  18. What’s the best compliment a client could give you? That they had genuinely fun during our shoot. (And that they loved their photos; obvs.)

  19. How has motherhood changed the way you see the world through your lens? Since having a kid, I don’t shy away from embracing the unexpected chaos of everyday life. In fact, I think I’ve become an expert to see the beauty in it.

  20. If your camera could talk, what would it say? Man, we do have fun, don’t we?

  21. What’s the most underrated thing about Scotland that people should appreciate more? The creative community.

  22. What’s a sound that always calms you down? The sound of nature.

  23. What’s something you always notice that others often overlook? Beauty.
